Course Overview
The SAP QM course provides comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management processes within SAP and their integration across procurement, production, inventory, sales, and enterprise asset management. Learners will understand the role of QM in maintaining product quality, controlling inspection processes, managing defects, and supporting continuous quality improvement.
The training covers core QM functions including Quality Planning, Quality Inspection, Quality Certificates, Quality Notifications, Quality Control, and Test Equipment Management. Learners will gain practical knowledge of QM master data such as sampling procedures, Master Inspection Characteristics, inspection methods, catalogs, coding, inspection plans, and material specifications.
The course also covers the complete inspection lot process, including inspection lot processing, defects recording, results recording, usage decisions, notifications, and workflow. Learners will explore quality management in logistics, including inspection stock, goods receipt and goods issue inspections, procurement controls, vendor release, and source inspection.
Advanced areas include QM integration with production, process orders, master recipes, in-process and final inspections, calibration, maintenance plans, quality certificates, delivery inspections, customer complaints, and returns. By the end of the course, learners will have a strong understanding of SAP QM processes across the complete supply chain.
