Course Overview
The SAP Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) course provides comprehensive knowledge of SAP’s solutions for managing environmental, health, safety, product compliance, and regulatory requirements across industrial organizations. Learners will understand why SAP EHS is important, how it supports different industries, and how EHS processes integrate with other SAP business functions.
The training begins with the fundamentals of SAP EHS, including system architecture, master data, and the major EHS components. You will explore Global Label Management (GLM), Product Safety, Dangerous Goods Management, Report Shipping, and Substance Volume Tracking, gaining an understanding of how each area contributes to product compliance and regulatory management.
A major part of the course focuses on Global Label Management, where you will learn label configuration, label categories, report categories, label stocks, template creation, WWI/SDS concepts, report symbols, descriptors, repeating groups, conditional outputs, generation variants, template mapping, material management integration, and label printing and preview.
You will also gain practical knowledge of ABAP integration with Global Label Management, including classes and characteristics, report symbols, passing values from database tables and fields, and retrieving values through classification data. The Product Safety module covers phrases, specifications, specification data structures, property trees, reporting, and phrase management.
The course further covers Dangerous Goods Management, including DG Master, DG Profiles, and regulatory information; Report Shipping processes and Substance Volume Tracking for regulatory information tracking. With configuration-focused exercises and real-world implementation scenarios, this course prepares learners to work effectively on SAP EHS implementation and support projects.
