Course Overview
The SAP Security course provides comprehensive knowledge of SAP R/3 authorization concepts and the security mechanisms used to protect SAP systems, applications, users, and business data. Learners will understand how to manage roles and authorizations using PFCG, work with authorization objects, maintain user buffers and roles, and implement appropriate access controls.
The course also covers system-level security, including protecting tables and transaction codes, application and web-flow security, change-table logs, User Information System, and system parameters. Learners will gain an understanding of essential network security concepts such as network ports, firewalls, DMZ, and SAP Router.
Advanced security topics include cryptography, certificates, SNC, digital signatures, Single Sign-On, SAP Logon Tickets, Web-AS Security, SSL, load balancing, and Enterprise Portal Security. The course concludes with AIS configuration, audit logs, security monitoring, and system service protection, helping learners develop practical skills for SAP security administration and monitoring.
